The directory was created by someone raised in Petoskey, with family roots in the area going back generations. Growing up in the region meant seeing firsthand how local service providers are found, recommended, and relied upon—often through reputation and relationships rather than visibility online.
Through prior work in real estate and continued involvement with local businesses, it became clear that many dependable providers are not always easy to find from a distance. Quality work and local trust do not always correlate with a strong web presence.
